So I've been looking for a reasonable keytar. Now I know the Roland Ax-1 and Ax-7 are the best options, but they've gotten so pricey lately. What about an alternative, like the Yamaha SHS-10? Anyon ...

Would it be better or worse than say, a Karma? I have an option to buy one of those locally as well, including EXB PCM-01, a stand, adapters, Chemistry sounds, two pedals, etc. for more around $1000. ...

If I were to find a good price on a Korg Karma, is there any reason I should jump on it, even with all of the newer synths available? Are the sounds noticeably lower in quality than modern synths? I ...
