I can't speak for Logic, but I do know that the Electribe will put MIDI signals out through its post, so you should at least be able to read the MIDI.

I don't know whether Logic can read Ableton ex ...

You can slice all the drumloops, and then toggle between them, in a makeshift legato mode. I did a tutorial on this about 6 years ago or so:
