Yes but it's one hell of an instrument when not midi controlling!

Absolutley! As far as Vienna... they are really nice these days by letting you get a flavor without havnig to purchase huge librar ...

Has anyone tried out a Yamaha Tyros 4? If so, how does it compare to the Oasys?

At $5299, is it substantially better than a Korg Kronos?

You might want to give it one more try and verify that you are in "Style Mode" Seems to be working fine on this end however, like you mentioned perhaps you have a bad unit???
