That sounds bad. Maybe you should contact your local retailer or Korg support. Maybe the internals have gone bad somehow.

I haven't had this problem before but it might be that you have used the
Micro X to play the MPC or the otherway around.

Try to program and play back the rhythm or groove with sounds from the MPC ...
