You're correct on the ram/sata. On my original K I did start having power supply issues and ended up replacing it. Wouldn't hurt to check this one I suppose. Cheers.

I have it a few times-these were the issues:

1-ram unseated and/or bad connection
2-failing secondary drive
3-failing power supply

It always functions as a volume pedal in prog mode by default. I'm not sure why that's an issue unless you've got some sort of spring loaded pedal that auto zeros itself? I'm not in front of the board ...

The global setting should be CC#11 expression for volume.
