On my Triton Classic, I love that "Wet Dist. guitar" patch. I use it for leads, not chords. It has just the right amount of echo, reverb, and ability to stand out in the mix. However, I wo ...

I'm trying to record a MIDI track from my Alesis Vortex keyboard. Actually I WAS able to do the first verse earlier today, but for some reason I'm suddenly unable to. I HAVE chosen Vortex as my MIDI ...

Perhaps I'm incorrect, but I thought these forums had a moderator, like Clark Kent, who would step in and answers questions when no one else could. Is that no longer accurate? Are we on our own in thi ...

I should now add, 2 days later, that I still can't get in. I wonder if there is something on the Triton which is not permitting Sysex messages to enter. I HAVE gone to the global/MIDI screens, and hav ...

PostForum: Korg Triton Classic   Posted: Sun Feb 10, 2019 12:13 pm   Subject: Loading 3rd party sounds
I recently bought some 3rd party sounds (Kid Nepro) for my Triton. I was able to find some old floppy disks to save all of my current sounds. However, I then had a problem transferring the new sounds ...

I will try this when I get a chance, prob in another 5 days or so. But, in the meantime, as I have asked: don't you think it's strange that Korg would charge $250-300 for new sounds and samples, but ...

Thanks for that info. It did not help.

Specifically, I did download the Kronos editor v 3.0. Again, it gives me an error message after the program is opened and starts its automatic "rendering ...

Frustration rises. I did download the latest Kronos editor, and opened it as a stand alone program, since I am using the 64 bit version of Sonar. However, even when using my USB cable, it said it did ...

As is often the case, I am again confused. My idea of a plug-in is that I can access it thru my DAW, such as Sonar--the same way I access my virtual synths. By "stand alone," I assume it's a ...

Thanks for that info. I therefore go to the Korg site and am finally able to locate the software download for the editor you suggest. However, they only have: Kronos/editor/plug-in editor; actually 2 ...

I don't know what that means--use an Editor. I use Sonar. DOes that have an editor; or do you mean most DAW's have an editor, and I should try to find something called an editor?

I recently bought the somewhat new Sound Pack from Korg. I can't seem to find the new Instrument Def Files.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I upgraded to the New Korg Soundpack about a month ago. I thought I had read that one of the sounds from famous recordings in this pack would be one from Steve Winwood's, While you see a chance.
