I voted both, but I do use MIDI more.

I use the MIDI seq as a sketchbook for ideas.

I use the audio seq to load full songs I want to play along with.

Thanks for the tip! Yeah, it's clear to me that this workstation was designed by engineers who happen to be musicians instead of musicians who happen to be engineers.

Ahhh, beautiful! This was really bugging me. There was a bass sound that uses the PolySix engine I really wanted to edit in the sequencer and just couldn't figure it out. Thank you!

Is it possible to use an IFX as well as the two MFX simultaneously on a single track in the sequencer?

If so, how? When I select an IFX, the MFX sends grays out.

Polyphony is always shared between the engines, it's called Dynamic Voice Allocation, though I'm not sure what algorhythm is used to drop previous notes.. The polyphony values per engine you quote are ...
