Following, as guitar-sounds are definately where the Korg fell flat on their face. The guitars of Kronos is SO disappointing to me.

On drums I'd start by applying a Stereo Limiter, and then tweak to your liking

Bass, I like using a good compressor and/or amp-modeling setting to get it "pumping and sweating".

Probably a silly question, but have you tried the brass expansion that comes preloaded with the Kronos? It's not loaded by default.

Personally, I use Extreme Sample Converter to port across sample ...

There is no any much of the setup....go to Global/Midi/Filters and make shure that all filters are set to off...if it"s not working set your last channel in filters to be on Notes ...
