I'm about to buy a computer for my Oasys. Who makes an inexpensive optical spdif interface? Are there any computer manufacturers who build computers with spdif? Any help would be appreciated!

The old cliché works PERFECTLY here - if 4 tracks were good enough for the Beatles, then if 32(+) tracks on the OASYS are not good enough, then it’s not the OASYS, its your music!

Yes, you can even take vocals recorded at other studios and import them into the audio tracks and mix them.

That is correct about the motherboard only supporting up to 2gigs.
