Ahhh I remember that song - from the era of key changes and hand claps! And DX-7 of course.

The right hand part does sound like it came from a DX-7. Perhaps there's a sound from the MOD-7 Kronos ...

I'm using the "Poly Synth" sound. It seems the closest to the original recording.

Hi, the Rode NT1 needs a +48V phantom power.
The Kronos does not deliver phantom power. So, you have to get an external power for your Mic before plugging into the Kronos ana analog input.

Maybe it is the Song Length limit? It might be worth a quick try. Go to the TRACK EDIT page -- select SONG LENGTH from the dropdown menu to make it longer than 64 measures.

While trying to record my vocal track, it stops recording and gives me this message - "NO ROOM ON MEDIUM' (or something to that effect).

There is 6 gigs of space available on the hard drive.

When I do my sax parts, I record it with no scoops (or I step record it) then add all of the pitch bends in manually and adjust the attack and everything manually. I'd like to think they turn out OK

I wasn't aware that .WAV files would even play off of a thumb drive.

I back up all of my songs onto a thumb drive. When I want to tinker with them, I have to copy them back to the hard drive.
