Reviving this thread to ask if any more people have attempted to upgrade the Kronos power supply, and if that upgrade improved reliability in terms of the dreaded “An error has been detected…” message ...

Sounds like it might be trying to boot from the new drive. Maybe try swapping the SATA cables.
