Funny, but I got rid of my EMX and ESX for a Maschine too (and kept my ER-1 which I won't get rid of either)

Elektrons don't have USB!? Unless you're talking about the new +Drive which I think does have it, but I don't recall 100%.

Update: not even the new +Drive versions have USB. But they can all make u ...

The EMX has a mono input so you can add an external input to play along with the internal synths and drum samples, but it's not a mixer nor a sampler.

Depends on how many jittering knobs it has. Usually it's the main selector, or the synth or effects encoders. I changed the main selector last year and it cost me $10 to get the part from Korg.
