For info, the KK shares the same key blocks with the following models : Krome 61 and 73, Kross 61, M50 61 and 73, PA600, PA900, PS-60.

There must be something wrong with the floppies.
Remember, there is a specific old program that creates non-standard FDD from the image files.

You can unsolder and resolder directly a new CR2032.
Best is to unsolder and solder a standard battery holder.

I strongly suggest you flash your Gotek with HxC and apply the non-gated configuration so that you have a 21st century configuration !

Before going any further, can you please confirm your USB emulator is flashed with HxC, not FlashFloppy ?
The LED will show "HxC" or "FF" without any stick.
