Monoprice has a couple budget options worth consideration. I have the 8's and really enjoy their sound.

If you have access to another two-track recording device, you could just stereo record the keyboard to that (keeping the same sample rate) and then recombine the tracks later.

That's the same link where I bought it, although it looks like they're out of stock now.

Agreed, I had the exact same problem and had to order a replacement pitch bend. It's fairly easy to install if you're at all comfortable working inside the keyboard.

Thanks again! Sorry I couldn't get a camera angle of the entire band. My options were limited so I stuck to just showing that I am actually playing, for gig seeking purposes.

Here's another one, ...

Thanks all! It's a 700SX which belonged to the venue. Otherwise I normally use a Yamaha P80.

Hi guys, thought I'd share a live clip from my last gig. Kronos' electric piano controlled by a Roland, layered with Roland pad. Hope you like it.

As a controller, the PX-5S lacks half-dampering capability. Unfortunately that's a deal-breaker for me. I'm hoping they fix this in its successor.

Assuming you're not bringing digital audio back into the Kronos and just want to send signal to your MOTU, you only need a one-way adapter, optical in with coaxial out. I use this one from Monoprice ...

Yep, the lowest E on my Kronos 61 does the exact same thing. If I repeat the note fast enough, it doesn't retrigger. I have to wait for that extra half-second or so for it to note-off before it will ...

Thanks, it's a nice workaround, although I think it may affect my pedal setup.

I run two adjacent sustain pedals taped side-by-side, the left one controlling the P80 (MIDI'ed to the Kronos on chann ...

Is it true the PX-5S doesn't support half-dampering? I'm looking for a new 88-key weighted controller to replace my aging P80, but I really want half dampering data to be sent over MIDI to my Kronos ...

I've done a few flights with my Kronos 61 in SKB's ATA case. I didn't use the silly plastic corner pieces that it came with, but instead packed the borders firm with 1-inch charcoal foam. I also did ...

A handful of people asked for my horn patch when I posted my demo up last year. Here's a PCG with it if it helps.

PostForum: Korg Kronos   Posted: Mon Mar 11, 2013 9:59 am   Subject: Phantom pitch bending
Just recently, my Kronos 61 has started periodically slowly rising in pitch while I'm the middle of playing, maybe three or four times a night. A quick flick of the joystick resets it, but as you can ...
