Hi

Keys trigger the audio in, so you need to press a key if you want to hear your guitar. You can make seqence with one key continiously pessed.

Yep, just hang it to the ground. try it onthe screws also. It shouldn't work like that all the time, but if it solves your problem at least you know its static electricity.

Your device chasis is not grounded. You feel buzz on screws because they are not painted. Just put a wire from korg (anywhere metal) to the floor and check if it helps. the other devices you pluged in ...

It doesn't worry me at all, even if the Kronos IS due to be shelved. Mine still works and does what I need it to do, as well as it did on the first day I bought it (excluding updates of course).

There is a knob for switching presaved patches. And holding SHIFT and scrolling you can switch 10 patches.

all depends on programming them. Best way is using Librarian software.

A few features I would love to see, though I don't know if they're feasible:

1) Shift+Drive for a second effect (selfishly I was thinking phaser)

2) A menu option to select VCO 1, VCO 2, or Both ...
