I'm pretty sure he did it in sequencer mode. In any case, that is what I did. Transfer midi file from computer to thumb drive, then load file. This places song in sequencer mode.

Funny I actually have a nanoKontrol sitting on my Kronos that I use to control my DAW and I never even thought of plugging it into the Kronos since I have a nanoPad. I will try and give it a go soon.

Bigger screen, better angle - more information available on screen at once. I find it a lot faster.
