Update...Ive replaced D10 with an 1N4148. The voltage drop across R30 is just under 1mV.

Fingers are crossed.....

I've had a look at the relevant components. There is no evidence of battery leakage.

Hi all,
I replaced the last battery with a Duracell. It lasted almost exactly the same length of time the previous one....about six weeks, but last Saturday it died.

I have two M1's...one for gigg ...

There was an M1 ROM version #19, so that's a good possibility.

Press down the INT button while powering the M1 up, which reveals the ROM version, and see if you get that number.

No luck, I'm afraid but I've found a work-around.

I have a second keyboard which I will use as a master keyboard for the X5DR with one touch of a button.

I'm looking for a way to split the keyboard on my M1 so that I can use the lower couple of octaves to play an internal (bass) sound and the upper octaves to play sounds on my X5DR via midi ...
