It looks wicked. Wonder if you can control it with an actual electribe lol!

I unbricked mine by successfully from the same scenario. I.e trying to upgrade a hacked grey E2 to become the latest sampler.

I'd use the electribe on its own as one source and then send clock to the iPad which i'd have running into the kaoss pad.

why? You can cover lots of ground with the e2s on its own and its intuit ...

Anyway its a great video. SO good I felt inspired and did the firmware downgrade so I could install the sampler OS. Its good!

well they are both the sampling versions, so he could have synth tones or whatever in them, theres definitely some vocals and I don't think the korg micro sampler was used

The official apple camera connection kit device is the one to get because it actually works. Combine that with a cheap USB midi lead (£5) and you will be able to map the ipad to the electribe.

I tried to do what you want with the faderfox LD2 which is battery powered and sends proper midi, but I was unable to program it to my liking.

Yeah f*ck that group and its weird editorial policy. They blatantly think that Korg will employ them if they kiss their ass enough.

No you have to play them in from chord mode.

What you can do however is tweak the parameter for chord type whilst you are playing them in. This way you can get chords type 1 to 5 involved.
