Maybe not the reply you want but i would suggest to keep using the Scarlet with your Kronos using good quality 1/4 cables.

I own a 18i20 and i really like the way its preamps make my Kronos sound, ...

Lower the modulation intensity to decrease the range of modulation and adjust your filter cutoff frequency to change the center position of the ribbon.

If I want to lower the max range of the filter mod, how do I set an upper limit?

Can you rephrase that or go into more detail? I'm not totally sure what it is you're trying ...

The piano sounds great, but the pad has to be turned down to like 40% in order to not sound distorted.

I created a combi with the warm analog pad and german grand, and when I play it I just get lost in the sound. I can noodle around with it forever.
