The S2 was what I was hoping Korg was building, a mini/monologue with a patch bay, though I suppose they thought been there done that with the MS20m.

Get into global edit mode, 4th page, and turn off "En Rx Transport".
When you hit play in your daw, you will receive clock regulary but sequencer won't start playing.

A minor tweak would make me very happy... when you are writing a program, the name of the destination slot should be displayed as well as its number.

Have you tried boosting or attenuating the triggers?
People have had the same problem with the Beat Step Pro and found the signal too hot and had to attenuate it.
