A KRONOS replacement is in theory a very simple thing.

1: A 64Bit OS allowing for more RAM to be installed and addressed for streaming samples.
2: Add 3 new engines, Wavestate, ModWave, OpSix.

Looking at all the gear that you have listed, you do not need the Nautilus, especially since you just bought the Kronos.

I would say dump the pre-order.

might just be a US/Sweetwater thing as in my neck of the woods the price of the Kronos actually went UP a several hundred bucks.

I just checked the Korg site this morning and thankfully the 88 Key version uses the RH3 key bed.

from the looks of it it seems to be a Krome but with the Kronos engines in it. I have yet to see any mention of the quality of the keybeds though.

Windows just updated again so I would not be surprised if Korg is doing a bit more testing before putting it out in the wild.

you will need an audio interface. then plug the Kronos into the interface and then open up an audio track in Ableton.

If using the Kronos as a MIDI keyboard only, one of the default settings for the piano Programs is the use of button A to go down 1 octave.

I was watching some YouTube posts by a composer and he ran into your problem when using VSO.

Not sure about the Kronos/X but for the Kronos2 the documentation on the installation procedure is included in the .zip file you download.

I am thinking that the stand is in need of some cross braces to help stabilize. Would a Hercules Z stand work better? Not trying to spend your money, just throwing some ideas out there.
