nw i plugged into a different PC and the noise comes back

is it possible my unit is faulty, or can someone else verify if they also have noise

i have powered SQ-1 via USB cable to USB wall wart adapter (same outlet), and routed SQ-1 MIDI out into my USB controller, and i do not hear the same noise any longer.

i have the 4 volcas chained and also an SQ-1 connected via USB to laptop, but connecting the SQ-1 causes noise in each Volca.

all devices are powered via same outlet

when you set the EG attack, decay/release, sustain nobs you control how much of that EG is applied to the filter/VCF, or the note amp/VCO by using those two respective nobs

im more intersted in a volca to produce strings/organs, sine wave tones, etc

i believe as long as it is 9v center pos and about 100mA it should work. not an expert though.

i got adapters from flea market and soldered to fitted tips from radio shack
