you might try to set up a virtual machine to run ios ...better to take care about CPU usage (so avoiding heavy instruments) and your ipad will do the job fine
otherwise you might need vsts and a daw ...

to me looks like they are islanding gadget and thats a real shame since production is moving toward OTB ( modulars, volcas, brutes, boutique and many many more ) and otb sequencing is still mpc territ ...

unfortunatly you cannot get a midi out with your current hardware. you might use a class compliant midi interface for your ipad then connect oxygen keyboard to it or look for a keyboard with clock gen ...
