I had the same problem. First, search here for the info about checking the motherboards fuse. I think it unlikely that is the cause as it's rated too high.

I have two EMX and one ESX and all the pots are stiff. I think this is how they are meant to be for durability. The earlier electribes were the complete opposite and were far too loose.

Far as I'm aware this should be saved with the pattern, no extra settings involved. I'll check later to be sure.

The trouble is that they put too small a fuse in early units. Korg then over compensated by doubling the fuse rating. This basically means the unit is unprotected against spikes as the fuse is meant t ...

I used to own both and as far as I remember, no there is no Song Loop mode.

Have you checked the internal fuse?

Probably a MIDI channel issue. Have you checked the settings in the ESX and the Host sequencer?
