Drum kits are a problem - since they do not transpose and Table and other drum kit sounds will be out of tune. I will write a separate note on this later.

when i click the sound button then the record button nothing happens...
This is weird ! and definitely bad news !
No matter what you had loaded or not SOUND/Record activates PCM menu , if not then , ...

(in the same song I count on changing styles as well as the playing instruments
you could as well combine these two and build up performances and have the performance selection screen instead of sty ...

yes ... track controls ... performance ... that is the way.

i think legato comes from user sound setting.

there you have to tell the oscillators where the samples are.
