Radias USB - Windows 8 Help

Post by Mutiny in Jonestown »

I've installed the newest Korg midi driver "PC:Driver:USA_DrvTools_e(1.14_r12).zip" and the newest Radias editor 2.0 and have followed the manual steps and no matter what I set things to I cannot get the Radias to transmit/receive programs with my Windows 8 laptop.

Is anyone out there successfully doing this? If so, any advice?

Thanks!
Dennis

I also had problems with Windows 8
1 Turn on your computer (do not connect the USB Radias!)
2 Connect the Radias (off) to PC USB port.
3 Turn on the Radias.
4 Turn on the Radias Editor.

5 Does the "Preferences" you have a MIDI IN> Radias KBD MIDI OUT> Radias 1 Sound?

I just followed your settings and set the global MIDI routing to USB and everything's good!

Thanks!
