OS1.5 Set List from Sequencer SST not working

With v1.5 I can get SST when switching between songs within sequencer, but if I put those same songs in SET LIST, sounds just cut off immediately. (no KARMA used) So try this, copy 2 different combis into the sequencer, and then "add to Setlist" each one from the sequencer. Now in setlist , go between them, and they will cutoff. In setlist if you go from German Piano factory slot to one of these sounds, SST works. Do the same in reverse, sound from sequencer cuts off. SST worked fine with sequencer sourced sounds in setlist in my previous v1.04. I tried using both old setlists and sequences, as well as creating new ones in v1.5. Anyone else confirm this behaviour?

Or easier way to describe. Using Preload SETLIST, select Slot 31 BOM BODOM, hold a chord, select any other slot and 31 cuts off immediately

I'll try when I update my Kronos. Another point I detected is that SST needs careful planning to make it work the best way, because there are certain facts you must be aware:
- KARMA stops when you change PROGRAM/COMBI/SONG
- Tempo will change and you'll end up with 2 different tempos playing simultaneosuly. So you must avoid combining elements where this could be exposed, for example wavesequences.

Can someone please do the little exerecise I outlined in opening this thread please, to confirm that sound cutoff that I am getting since v1.5 upgrade that did not occur in v1.04. Thanks

I tried it out and you're right. With OS 1.5 SST doesn't work in Set List Mode when you put Sequencer songs in it.
Although i don't know if it was working this way before the update. I hadn't tried it with 1.0.4

Thanks for trying and confirming this. Definitely did work in 1.04 as I used it regularly. I wonder if it was anything to do with fixing a "note overhang " issue someone had mentioned.

do you know if this cuts off the sound if you change tracks within an seq? That is, if from the setlist you change from track 1 to track 2 within the same song, does the sound cut off? This is something I need for live performance and don't want to upgrade if this no longer works.

No this did not actually answer my question. It does not seem anyone on that thread actually tested this with 1.5, as far as I can tell. It certainly work with 1.04 that I have right now. But thanks for looking for an answer. Have you contacted Korg about your issue and have they acknowledged it as a bug?

Not exactly sure I am trying what you do, but I tried this.
Made a new COMBI. Timbre 1 Organ Midi Tk 1 Timbre 2 Piano
Timbre 3 strings timbre 2+3 to Midi Tk 2.
In sequencer S001, did copy from Combi.
Then put S001 in 2 slots of setlist. Slot 1 Midi Ch1 Slot 2 Midi ch 2.
Going between these 2, SST works fine. But if say in Slot 1 and go to any other slot that has Prog, Combi, or another song, cuts off. But if go from slot with either combi or prog to Sequencer slot SST works (but not other way around) However, if you go out of SETLIST, and stay in SEQUENCER, (switch from S001 to S002 etc) SST works between all songs. But put S001 + S002 in SETLIST, SST does not work between them. This is using v1.5. It operates different from v1.04 as noted in original post above. Hope this clarifies.

Thanks to seapea for reporting this issue. One of our engineers jumped on it immediately, and has now identified and fixed the problem. While as always I can't make any promises, the fix should be available in a future release.
