First Video in 2015 by SoP

Post by SoundsOfPlanet »

Hello
I would like to present to you the first this year’s video – which i have recorded in the night of 01/02 January 2015.

This recording as realized with use of two keyboards – on the right is there is of course Korg Kronos, and on the left (take a guess ) – my second favourite instrument just after Kronos :)

Kronos - except for playing the pad sounds – is also used as the recorder. I connected both keyboards via analogue cables. Resultant Wav file was subjected to standard processes – normalization and minimal compression.

The whole session was made absolutely live and I recorded some minutes of music in single take without any specific plan. What resulted from that – please be the judge yourselves.

All your comments are welcome. It is the best to view the film in HD mode.

Greetings
SoP

I thought the second keyboard was a Roland.

Great sounds and great textures. I really ended that. We're the pads from your latest batch of sounds?
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

Looking more carefully, I believe the second keyboard is a Roland - maybe the V-Synth?

You are absolutely right as for the second keyboard and for the sounds from Kronos set. I wanted to experienced by myself how these new pads would sound live :)

Roland makes a perfect companion to Kronos – music is almost getting created by itself :)
