Many users have fantastic problems because the lack of EQ on channels in style play mode.

For example I’m using a lot of electric guitar sounds. Playing them in the middle register gives unacceptable bass in the sound picture.

I hope that developer at Korg will implement this feature in the upcoming OS v.3.

Imagine, all Yamahas pro PSR series have this (including PSR-8000 & 9000). I think that this is the only function that has been totally missed by Korgs developers.

Please vote for this function. Previous topic about EQ issue: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13828

A cool and VERY usefull feature would be some way of exporting Dumkits with the associated samples and key mappings, all in one package. And then the ability to import it to your current working SET without overwriting anything else.

That would save a HELL of alot time.

It would be great to have this feature , especially in the sequencer , but I don't think it's possible by os upgrade.

Well I think that the effect unit in PA1X has their own dedicated hardware in the machine. Maybe the developer can try to take their CPU power for this purpose…

I’m not familiar with the hardware & software architecture of PA1X but imagine how big disappointing it was when I have realized that the brand new PA1X don’t have EQ function on style tracks. Yamaha have included this function in their PSR models since 1996…

The lack of EQ creates tremendous problems when I want to create an ‘ensemble’ sounds and recall it as Performances. Why? Because of the fact that I then need to use one effect (FX C) and route the problematic sound through it for EQ processing.

Then I can use the ‘serial’ connection from FX D to FX E, but then all instruments have ‘fixed’ amount of FX send because of EQ…

I understand that we all have different ‘tolerance’ level when it comes to the quality of the sound for gigs. I personally has spent much time working in pro studios so I have notice one interesting thing;

People are often talking about ‘bad’ sound at live performances and very often the PA are the week point. But in fact more than 95% has NOT done any tweaking of internal sounds and settings in their sound machines or PA1X.

It would be different if we hade 6 or 8 audio outputs on the PA1X (…)

Regards,
KP

I just want to say that it's important to have an EQ but I think that needs to improve the hardware or modify it.. as it's not a software issue.
But hopefully they have something to do.

Waver,

A bit fascinating about how the developers could overlook that…

i think the can offer a litle bit more now than before. Couse the KB market is JUST KORG at the moment. There is no other KB like KORG sounds now!!!
Please tell me if i,m wrong.
I heave tested the MIDJAY its a great toy.And it can do many stuff. There is great styles for the new generation of music like Dance / House and so.
I hope KORG can fix some new stuff whit the engine of PAX sounds inside.
Like better synths and why not a EXB.
Why an EXB slot if there is nothing to instal in there.
What i think is what many users whis, EXB whit cool dance and house stuff.Only here in sweden many PAX friends (14) to bee exact wants some realy cool styles Dance/House/Trance/Hip-Hop/RNB/

I hope you guys think like me/uss.There is so cool waltz /Swing Big band and rumba. But where is same qualty dance styles?
The styles in dance categorie is to old.RECYKLED from i 3 is series.
The KB can make better thats for sure.Alex fr, maded some stuff converted from Yamy, nice.Thanx alex.

I just wanna say that we realy need some news.
Thanx all and thank you KORG!
