Hi,

What would happen to the new USER styles when user 1,2,3 "empty" sections are all full, would it create more new tabs of pages and will give you many other new "empty" user styles space?

personally thinking I DON'T THINK SO...unless there is a way to upgrade your internal memory of pa800(check the manual, if there is a way to upgrade internal memory of pa800) , if the internal memory of pa800 is upgradeable!! then you might have a chance....otherwise OVERWRITE your factory styles...as i mentioned b4 most of the factory style are NOT all that, i say only %30 of the factory styles are usable for me, although i don't use any of them at this point of time...

No, nothing EXPANDS, instead of 3 USER BANKS you have 13, when you
click the FAVORITE button all the way to the left, you get an aditional
10 USER BANKS. They are called FAVORITE but actually they are USER.
The PA800 itself can hold up to 960 Styles, they can be also 960 user styles.

I think KORG should allow the software to create new pages auto for more styles when all user1,2,3, fav are full up, doesn't matter it takes a part of RAM instead of overwriting factory style as it doesn't seem very professional. Mad

I had more than 400 User styles for PSR as I sequence musical pieces for each style according to the song, so I have to save each song styles sequence as a new file rather than using same style for many different songs. Well, it will tame me a long time to make 400 sequences with PA800.

I dont think you'll have PA800 that long to finish 400 styles, you know that
yourself too. Wink

Yeah, I know.

But I am missing my PSR/TYROS sequences a lot, it gave me a big professional loss selling it to have a PA800 though I am happy with PA800.

oh, well i assumed you already used ALL your user banks including FAVORITE BANKS......coz your favorite banks are all empty and is there for USERS to use and abuse them....lol...j/k

and as far as overwriting FACTORY STYLES, what is the purpose of having some weird beats sitting in your keyboard, YOU knowing that you will never use them..

i had beats with my i30, pa80 that i never used or i could never use, that's Y KORG knows that, and gives you the option to destroy them.... if you want !! (many styles from PA800 is repeated from PA80)..

PLUS YOU ALWAYS CAN RELOAD THE MUSICAL RESOURCES AND GET ALL YOUR ORIGINAL BEATS BACK..
good luck..if you decided to sell your keyboards..

Hi Shahid,

Sorry was of this weekend,

But Nedim is right about fav.banks and if you need more ( what i don't tink you do you can rewrite youre factoy styles.

I use the tree user styles only to find out what for a sneak freeview.
When i like a style i load it into my fav styles ( checkout the manual or nedim tip the uper adn lower led hav to lighted).
There are also addon fac. styles what i have from the pa60HD check www.korg.com.
I load those styles in the fac style groups.
You can also rename the groupnames of youre fav bank.
So yust use the user style banks for sneak preview.

Very well done Korg !!!

Greets,
Sanjai
