I just managed to break a black key on my new R3. It was leaning against my leg while setting up my stand and it toppled over onto the stand, face side. I managed to snap a black key at the very top of the key near where it is hinged. Is this an easy fix. I do have an old parts Roland d-5 that I could steal a key from. Are parts even available for these yet?

I've actually decided to take it apart myself and see if I could fix it. Looks like the keyboard is split into 3 sections and the keys are springboarded to a flat bar that connects to the rest of the black keys. How lame! I've tried to superglue it. Hopefully it will last at least the weekend for my upcoming gigs. Ive posted some pics here...

Anyone know where to order korg parts directly? Looks like I just need the black section with the black keys on it and it looks like it snaps on top of the white key section. Hopefully that piece can be ordered. Would this be something that a warrenty would cover? Just curious.

You might be able to get a single key (or more likely a handful of them) from www.korgparts.com

Hope it works out okay ...

Well, got the part in. Its the correct part. So I guess that tells you how much an R3 keyboard costs, lol (well, a 3rd anyways). They did fail to tell me there is a $10.00 minimum and charged me a $4.05 minimum order surcharge. If I would have known that I would have ordered 2. Oh well, at least if any of you order from there, you will know that up front now.
