I sampled accordions before in friend's studio and didn't care much about the gear I used.
Now i want to do it again and can't go to studio so I want to buy good studio microphone.

I would appreciate your suggestions about mics in price range about 300 - 350 euros.

For sampling like this, you would probably be better off with a directional condenser mic.

Sharp, thank you very much for your answer, but if I can use your knowledge for just a little bit more:

how is this Rode NTG 2 comparing to:

Alto ACM6 http://www.musictrade24.com/webshop/product_info.php/products_id/806

and audio technica AT3035

I can get this Alto ACM6 in my country for about 160 euros, and Audio technica AT3035 for 350 euros. I can't find this Rode ntg 2 anywhere so I would have to order it from Germany or somewhere and that would be expensive.

I would appreciate if you have some thoughts about those two that you can share.

Everybody else feel free to make your suggestions also, every tip is valuable.

both rode and AT are well known brand for mic, avoid Alto, maybe they're cheaper but is like to have a behringer mic (ok, I have the B1 and I'm happy with it since I paied only 100€ that time...)

I have Alto mixer and am pretty happy with it, in that matter.

Some musicians around here recommended those two, alto and audio technica, and regarding the price, alto seems so much attractive...
Didn't actually try it, though.

I can only say that I did try an alto mixer and I don't like it very much, one thing is for sure, I never seen an Alto microphone in any studio and in any live situation... working as an audio technician for some years right now but I really never seen them in action, this should means something.
I tried many rode and AT though and they're really good microphone used by many pros too.

I've learnt something in all this year, you can buy a cheap crappy B1 and create good samples (I have a B1 and I'm really happy with it for the money I've spent) but if one day you'll have to use the mic in a different way, or to record something really important you'll regret to have spent 100 € for a mic and you'll have to spend again some money to buy another one maybe selling it for 50... so I can assure you that if you buy a rode or an AT you won't regret in the future... then remember that you need a good preamp too cos you can buy a neumann but it will sound crappy if you use it with an m-audio or similar devices... like if you were using a B1... so just buy a middle range product that will give you a good results with cheap pres and good results with a good pres if you'll get it in the future (or if you already own one)

Behringer B2 Pro? How about that one? Costs about 210 euros.

I just find out its available in Zagreb.

I know what you mean, cheap gear is no gear at all. And I'm not rich enough to buy cheap stuff over and over again, if you know what I mean.

Audio Technica AT3035 is very expensive, can't afford that one.

Yes, I would like Rode NT1 too, that one suits my need, NTG2 is somewhat different, purposed for filming and such things, not for sampling.
NT1 is perfect, but sadly, so far I've been unable to find it in Zagreb. If I have any success, will let you know how does it work.
