Hi!

I would love to have some opinions about mp3 players and recorders...
I'm in need to buy something to use a backup for live recordings; now I'm using the Traveler (self powered, not bus powered) with iBook, but if the iBook crashes (I know it won't crash, but never say never!) I'd like to save my recording on another media, too.
I know that DAT are the best for that purpose, but they are far too expansive. Korg 1bit recorder seems to be great, but too much expansive, too.

So I thought about iPod, if there are accessories with turns it into a lossless quality recorder...
But I'm sure there are other mp3 players with line in, too...

Can you point me in the right direction or on whatever you think worth a look?

Thanks a lot!
