Episode 2: Sequencing drums and melodies using LFOs

http://insidesynthesis.blogspot.com/

"You can even use old outdated synthesizers, like this piece of ..." Very Happy

Is it just me or don't the end sequence (07:2&) sound a whole lot
like early VNV Nation, either Praise The Fallen or Empires album.
In any case, tried it out, were very impressed, learned alot.

That video leaves out the big secret.

Unlike most synthesizers, you can route LFOs to the oscillator mixer on the ESQ-1 (Ensoniq doesn't call it a mixer, rather 3 "digitally controlled amplifiers").

Very few old synths let you do what he shows in the video because they don't have well specified mod matrices.
