The answer is no, as they are different boards.

The board for the Trinity is called the MOSS-TRI.
Solo-Tri, monophonic (1-voice) physical modeling synth option. There was a model called the Trinity-Plus which already had this option installed.
MOSS-Tri, polyphonic (6-voice) physical modeling synth option. Later Korg had a model called the Trinity V3 which already had this board installed.
SCSI-Tri, adds a 25Pin SCSI connector to your Trinity in order to use external medial such as a Zip or Jaz drive.
HDR-Tri, adds 4 tracks of hard disk recording to the Trinity sequencer. Also onboard is SPDIF in/out and analog ins/outs. Note, external media did not come with the kit; therefore one must buy this separately at a computer store. Also note, the HDR-Tri has a SCSI connection on it so no need to add SCSI-Tri.
PBS-Tri, adds sampling to the Trinity. What is interesting about this option is that the samples are contained in Flash Rom, and therefore are saved even when the power is turned off.

The board for the Triton is called the EXB-MOSS. Compatible with:
TRITON Classic Music Workstations
TRITON Rack
TRITON STUDIO Music Worstations
TRITON Extreme Music Worstations
Karma Music Workstations

Hi,

1st. Trinity Plus is not equipped with a tri-moss from the factory. Trinity Plus is equipped with tri-solo board. Also Trinity V3 is equipped with a tri-moss board and not with a tri-solo one. I haven't heard of a Trinity V3 Plus before as you mention. However you can have both versions in one keyboard as long as you hold both tri-solo and tri-moss boards. You have to make clear what board is installed in this trinity cuz the previous user may have removed the tri-solo and fitted a tri-moss in. Turn on your instrument and let us know what is the new bank you have access to. If this is the S bank then you have tri-solo on. If this is the M bank then you have the tri-moss on. You can NOT have both of these two banks cuz Tri-Solo and Tri-Moss fit in the same slot inside your trinity and you may switch them whenever you want (if you own both of them)

2nd. None of them is compatible with any triton or karma. You will have to buy a new moss for your extreme. Also tri-solo was only available for the trinity. Official product for the extreme is the EXB-MOSS board.

Regards

Yes, Yes and Yes, the only reason i have EXTREME is the MOSS board,
otherwise any TRITON to me is worthless, as i've said many times.
They might be great keyboards but not for me. But if thats what you play
do not have TRITON without MOSS, otherwise sell your TRITON and get
a YAMAHA MOTIF ES or XS.

I dont know about CHEAP and GOOD, a MOSS board is only a MOSS board,
nothing else, as cheap they are not cheap, mine is just another MOSS board.
And yes, i do provide MOSS board sounds for TRITON machines which can
be ordered thru me or our web page which is currently off.
