I am new to harddisk recording. I have not yet bought this unit but would like some input on what you think are the "goods" and the "bads". I've been reading the manual and some of it is confusing.

Please let me know what experiences you have had with it.

Thanks in advance,
ratdog

Great machine if you can get past the LAME screen!! Evil or Very Mad Probably the best sounding DAW on the market! I would look for a D1600 myself! Very Happy

Hey, Kerzwhile,

Why would you get the 1600 over the 3200?

Thanks for the reply.

Sina172,

I checked out both the 16xd and the 32xd. IF you are able to find them the price is more than I can afford ($2500 to $3000?) which is too bad because I did like them. I guess you could get one off of ebay but I've been burned twice on a couple of analog recorders so I'm kind of shy about going there. Crying or Very sad

My D1600 is a great machine. The more I work on it, the more I like it.
Rather than two D3200, wouldn't you be better off with a D3200 and a software recording program so that you can cut and paste and finely edit.
