Hi.
I have been trying to find a fix for this but not much business in the mac music forum.
When using the Zero Edit installer, it quits just as soon as it starts with this information in the console which i had not found previously:
Oct 9 04:52:23 MACHINE : Create temporary directory "/private/tmp/ZERO Edit for Mac OS X.pkg.582or8SCV"
Oct 9 04:52:23 MACHINE : run preflight script for ZERO Edit for Mac OS X
Oct 9 04:52:23 MACHINE : preflight[585]: chmod: /Applications/KORG: Operation not permitted
Oct 9 04:52:23 MACHINE : preflight[585]:
Oct 9 04:52:23 MACHINE : Install failed: The following install step failed: run preflight script for ZERO Edit for Mac OS X
Anyone here got the skill to decipher this so i can get the software working?
Thanks for any help!
Korg Zero Edit software not installing OS X

The script is trying to change the permissions on the Application/Korg folder (chmod is a UNIX command for changing permissions on a file or folder) and that is failing. You may need to repair permissions on your Macintosh HD using Disk Utility. What user name are you using, just the default username on your machine or do you have multiple logins ? If you select the Korg folder in Applications and hit Command-I (i.e. apple key and i) what is shown in the info windows in the permissions section ?

Zero Edit Problem
When I go to enter MIDI Set Up in ZeroEdit, ZeroEdit crashes. I am running OS Lion and had no problem installing the application or in editing the signal addresses. That said it fails to load a file template into Korg... Any one have any suggestions please?
