Hello,

my question is, is there a way to use KP3 to make it function as the pad on the padkontrol, to do and control flams and rolls with a drumkit?

Reason of this question is, i'm about to buy a padkontrol with a Evolution UC-33e and a KP3, OR an mpd24 with a KP3.
Plus point for the padkontrol is the touchpad of course, so i want to know, in case i buy the mpd24, if i can use the KP3 to control rolls and flams in the MPD24.
Plus point for the mpd24 are the faders and knobs that would not require me to buy the UC-33e.

Does my reasoning makes sense? any advice?

thanks a lot

thanks for the answer, but how about using a drum software like Reason, Battery, ecc. and an arpeggiator, using the kp3 as a midi controller with arpeggiator speed on x and velocity on y (or viceversa)?
wouldn't it be possible? i think the padkontrol's rolls work in a similar way..
