What do you think guys, will there ever be another O.S. upgrade for the mighty, beloved PA1x or is what we've got, all we're going to get?
Regards

maybe 1 or 2 will come - but only a maybe.
what do you wish for a new OS? i think 3.01 is running stabil and well.
and features like master eq and 64MB and so on are not possible - so what are the points.

I stayed with OS 3.00 because I want the Variation to restart at bar 1 when I change it.
Could be a user choice in a futur OS. _________________ http://galettouille.perso.neuf.fr/ |

Just my thoughts......
I dont think that Korg is going to make available some of those things that the Pa800 and Pax2 have to us in an operating system upgrade. If they did then thay wouldnt sell any Pax2's or Pa800's now would they....lol
Its marketing, pure unadulterated capitolism marketing. _________________ Current equipment: Korg Pa1xPro,Kurzweil

Hi Robert,
64 megs and internal "EQ" is not possible in the Pa1x/Pro.
Its is not a software issue....this would have had to incorporated in the hardware/board designing of the Pa1x
My advise is to buy an external EQ processor and clear your Pa1x of all unused samples/voices.....64 megs will provide you with enough balls to
perform any gig successfully. If you cant live with "64 megs" you can also
purchase a sound module from korg, yamaha, kurzweil ..etc and midi it to your Pa1x for more poly" and more "megs"...its that easy _________________ Current equipment: Korg Pa1xPro,Kurzweil

Hello all,
I think Korg is trying to find some OS space which I doupt if there is any! So, what I would want from a future OS ( which I doupt!) is the Guitar mode. It will help Pa1X to read style files from PA800 & PA2X!
