Making Styles from .wav Loops
Sound button
Record button
Menu Button
Select Time Slice
Open Screen Menu > Load sample, so load it
Check the measures
Hit slice
Hit C2 on keyboard and hear 8 sounds as sliced
Write it from Screen menu
Exit Sampling Mode
Style Record Mode
Choose sound you save when sliced, where you choose drum kit
Menu Button
Touch Import
Touch Execute
Thats it !! the loops is in the Var 1 now, play and hear it!
Write the style, exit style mode !!
And enjoy !! _________________ Music is a real Therapy

This question might be a little stupid but does that mean if we have a song in.mp3 format can we cut out the intro for example with a program, then save that intro as .wav format then use it in our pa800 this the steps you just listed? _________________ Korg pa800 & Korg Triton Extreme....and Yamaha v50 |

yes, you can do it but not with MP3, you have to convert your Cuts into .WAV first .
and the problem with PA800 is, it has got just 64 (67) MB RAM and if you do the complete song like this, you won't be able to do more than one song probably as 5 minutes .WAV song is about 45MB or so.
I had the same idea in the start but it RAM size messed up everything. _________________ Music is a real Therapy

MP3 board is only to play/record MP3s using USB pen drive or HDD and if you don't have it installed you can't play MP3 songs with PA800.
if you want to make styles from external Loops files, they must be .WAV, MP3 is not supported here, Your MP3 doesn't matter here!! _________________ Music is a real Therapy
