Hi all

Tell me this, is this possible

Extreme and a midi controller
using ex sounds on the controller of course

is there anyway for me to control the extreme voice played on the controller with the controllers volume?

in other words, I want to control the voice i play on the controller with the controller's volume slider although i'm using the voice from the Extreme

I'm do hope I'm clear...

thanx

Yes, but it depends on the controller, not the Triton
If the controller has a master volume slider, then you need to find out what CC it transmits when you move this, or if it transmits any at all.

Chances are you would have to depend on a value / data slider to do the trick.

Regards.
Sharp.

ok ,

thanx Sharp, I got that
Value data slider will definitely do the trick u r saying, right?
then, if it just has a master volume, what CC should it carry or accept to do the trick?

was thinking about this controller

http://www.guitarcenter.com/M-Audio-Keystation-61es-USB-MIDI-Controller-102791126-i1155202.gc

or if that cant work, then this

I realized the volume slider on the M audio 61es can handle channel volume
CC#7...

will that do it?

Yes, CC#07 is the one.
For less trouble though, you would be better off getting a one of the KORG Volume pedals.

I'm not sure how the Triton will behave when in a Multi Mode like GLOBAL or SEQ mode when controlled by an external controller.

Regards.
