| I have a Wavestation SR..I set everything up via midi from PC to Wavestation SR...I dump the factory settings file...it begins to dump and stops with an error message saying that it "timed out". I tried it about 10 times and got the same error message. Any ideas? |

Try setting your pause between transmissions to 150 ms and the sysex receive timeout to one second.
Make sure that Protect Int (Global) is set to OFF and that the MIDI channel you're transmitting on matches the synth's global channel.
Also, ensure that the Wavestation SR is selected as the target for the data in your sysex librarian. And, of course, that you have both MIDI In and MIDI Out cables connected from the unit to your MIDI interface.
