Wow! Some mighty impressive set-ups here! I always think it's interesting to see what other people end up putting together for their music-making set-ups. I thought I posted some pictures of mine somewhere here before, but I don't remember where that thread is anymore. At least for now, I'm all hardware synths, and don't yet use a computer-based DAW (there's a 16-track digital audio recorder in my Fantom-X). Anyway, here's my gear:
Roland Fantom-X8 w/1GB sample RAM; SRX04/SRX06/SRX09
Roland V-Synth GT
Access VirusTI Polar
Korg Radias
Behringer RX1602 Eurorack Pro line mixer
Yamaha HS50M studio monitors
Tascam CD-RW900 CD recorder
Fender Stratocaster
Yamaha electric bass
Takamine acoustic electric
Ibanez classical _________________ Fantom-G8 | V-Synth GT | VirusTI Polar | Radias |

I have korg kurzweil access and yamaha sounds... so time to try something else!
only kidding... I chose the V-Synth cos it's not a simple synthesizer (I already own a virus B) but something more...

I'm ashamed to say I don't have any Korg yet, but I'm working on it. I just spent almost 6 grand on 2 Yamaha keyboards, and I'm trying to sell three more.
Here's what I have so far:
Yamaha Tyros2,
Yamaha Motif XS6,
Here's what I'm trying to sell:
Yamaha PSR3000,
Yamaha PSR730,
Yamaha MO6,
Here's what I'd like to have:
MiniMoog,
Moog Modular,
Synclavier with FM only,
DX7,
ARP 2600,
ARP String Synthesizer,
Prophet 5,
Fairlight CMI Revision 2,
Wurlitzer electric piano,
Rhodes Suitcase-88,
Roland Jupiter 8,
Roland Fantom X6,
E-Mu Emulator II,
oh yeah, and I really want an Oasys-76!
I know I probably won't be able to afford all of these, but I would at least like to have a Prophet, a Moog, an ARP, and an Oasys. I really want that Synclavier, but I don't know how much luck I'll have finding one for a decent price! I may also pick up a M3M along the way. |

Ok so my gear changed a bit since my last post.
Currently, I work with:
Korg Pa1xPro
Korg Triton Extreme 61
Roland E-50
As for my gear:
Edirol UA-101
Logic Express
Phonic Mixer 8 channel
Wharfedale Valdus Speakers
iMac 20" 2.4 GHz
My previous collection of keyboards included Roland E-38, Korg iX300, Ketron Vega, Korg Karma.
And I must say, there's nothing compared to the Triton Extreme; I just love this board! _________________ Carol
