I'm listening to the demo songs for the first time on the M3M I brought home 3 hours ago. As much as I liked the new synth action, bying another keyboard would be a total waste of money. I don't have room for the ones I have. I plan to use it with a Kawai MP8, and if I need a synth action I'll just hook up my TS61 or Axiom 49.

The USB driver, editor, and OS are all updated, and I'm running it via SP/DIF optical to a MOTU Traveler. It recoginzed my USB 2.0 card reader and mounted the 2GB SD without complaint.

I will be taking brief breaks through the weekend to eat, sleep (a little), and reburn my laptop so I can install Pro Tools LE and play with the M Box 2 I picked up with my M3. It's inexpensive, USB powered, very portable, and works with the Pro Tools standard. It's only 48kHz, but that's adequate for what I want to use it for.

But I digress. My only complaint so far is the lack of a printed EasyStart document and the lack of pads for the bottom of the supports. And the jury's still out on the white finish, only time will tell.

I'm painting mine pea soup green so it'll match the Motif XS. Laughing

We could have a holographic paint job that shifts from white through flame red and ending in Motif Green. And an option for the keyboard owners to add spings so you can bounce the module up and down.
