A COMBI is nothing more then a SEQUENCER with only 8 TRACKS.
A COMBI is not a PROGRAM which you can select, what it is is 8
or less track put together and they work same way as the SEQUENCER.
There is 2 ways:
You can recreate the COMBI in the SEQ by adding more track to a
sincgle sound or:
When in SEQ mode click the arrow on top and sellect COPY FROM COMBI
then sellect your COMBI but also know that a COMBI wont take only
one track but more then one. _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

I"m a bit confused about this. For example I play the grand piano (a001) in combi mode and then in sequencer mode and it sounds different in both. It sounds better in combi mode than in sequencer mode. I"d love to have it sound like it does in combi mode for the sequencer mode,
Also howcome the appregiators never work in sequencer mode? |

Have you used the Setup to Record function?
From the combi mode, press ENTER and REC at the same time.
The process will copy the current settings to the sequencer.
This is probably the most accurate way to copy compared to doing it manually,
from the drop down tabs.
Things don't always copy correctly, so you may have to make some manual tweaks.
But, of any copying method, I would suggest using Setup to Record, as it seems to be more accurate.
The arps do work in the sequencer mode if they've been assigned and the front panel arp switch is ON. |

It sounds better in combi mode because it has all of the effects assigned and set up. When you select a piano in sequencer mode, you will have a dry sound because you have to re-create and re-assign effects to the track manually.
Hope this helps. _________________ Music is the stuff Dreams are made of!!!

I was just explaining why he hears a difference when going into an empty sequence, and selecting a piano, not when using Enter-Rec. _________________ Music is the stuff Dreams are made of!!!
