I'm trying to find some really good string samples to use on my Triton Extreme... For some reason i'm not very impressed with the ones from the Orchestral Collection, they just dont have the oomph i'm looking for. Anyone find anything good?

Have you looked at the option of loading AKAI S1000/S3000 files into your Triton ?.

There are thousands of CDs the choose from.

I'm from Ireland, so I buy all my AKAI CD's from http://www.timespace.com/ in the uk.

those are mighty expensive samples! but possibly well worth the investment.

If you're on a budget, you may want to check out our "Complete Orchestra Ensemble" library in S1000/S3000 format. There are several string patches and other instruments. Just check the link below and search by your sampler format.
