When I first purchased my Trinity the outputs 1L/mono and 2R Stereo was on. The 3 & 4 were off. Now, the only one working is the 1Lmono. The 2R is now off. I don't know if it's broken or been switched off by mistake. I searched all over the manual and screens to find the turn on tab. Can't find it. Can anyone tell me how to get the 2R back on? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. No, the Right Hand Stereo Output on the Headphone socket is not working. Only the left side is working. I didn't even think of checking there. I hope it is an easy fix. Can't wait to hear what it is.

Tony.

Hi Tony Smile

Yes it is easy to fix.....(if its the same problem I had)

Take off the bottom steel plate from your Trinity and trace the cables going to the Headphone socket,
you will find a small Plug and Socket (you may need Longnose pliers or Tweezers to unplug it)....
if you find it a stuggle, take the side end casing off the Trinity.

Unplug the Socket and clean the pins on the plug (if it is like my Trinity, there will be a little corrosion on the pins
making them dull in appearance causing a bad contact between the Plug and Socket).

Over time I had to do this about Four or Five times untill I came up with the idea of applying a small amount of
Vaseline/ Petroleum Jelly on the pins, its been apx. two years since I did this and have not yet had the problem.

Plug and unplug the Socket a few times to clean the socket contacts and before you put all the screws back in the
Bottom plate, power up the Trinity and have a listen using headphones, if you have your Right Channel back on... 2/R should
also be working.

I hope this cures it for you,..... please let us know how you get on.

Best of luck........Trev. Smile

Hi Guys.

I’ve move this thread to the “Classic threads” section for safe keeping because this is the first solution to a very common problem that most of the Trinity users here including me are experiencing.

Nice work !!!!.
Sharp.

I have this problem, too. Thanks for the great tip. I'll try cleaning the contacts and applying a dielectric grease to prevent corrosion.

I have also had to resolder the jacks on our church's Trinity, due to cable pressure breaking the solder joints. Long years ago someone used impedence transformers that plugged directly into the jacks, and the weight of the transformer housing PLUS the XLR cable plug was too much for the poor jacks!
