|
|
Hi quick question, in combo mode I did a quick "enter + rec/write" to start recording then after recording tried to change an instrument but was unable to. Went in and turned off multirec but still couldn't change it. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance - Rog javascript:emoticon('')

Is it anything to do with the polarity of your foot pedal.
Some pedals are not compatible with the M3, and actually work in reverse, so when you put your foot down, sustain is removed, and when you lift it up again, sustain is applied.
Try holding down you pedal, and if you are able to change the sound, then that will be your problem.
If it is the issue, go into the global mode under the controllers menu and change the polarity of the Damper to (+).
Of course, if this is not the issue, then ignore everything I have just said _________________ Music is the stuff Dreams are made of!!!

This can also happen if you are holding a note down, moving the joystick or ribbon etc. Or if your aftertouch is not quite calibrated and sending out constant messages (this can be checked with any MIDI monitoring application).

Oh yes, and I also remember that if Karma is still switched on, then I have had problems in the past with changing instruments. That may be your issue. _________________ Music is the stuff Dreams are made of!!!
