|
|
Hello from a new forum user.
I wonder if anyone can help- I am using a Korg Electribe ER1 mkII in conjunction with a Microkorg. I have connected them via MIDI with the Electribe as the master so that the Microkorg's arpeggiator, delays and LFOs etc can run in time with the Electribe. However, when I do this the Electribe seems to send note information to the Microkorg so that I end up getting unwanted notes triggered on the Microkorg.
I may have overlooked something and this might be a daft question, but does anybody know how I would sync the two devices' tempos without the Electribe triggering notes on the Microkorg? |

Welcome to the forum.
Have just confirmed this on my setup....
If you set the MIDI channel (1st knob, bottom row) on the MK to a different value than that used by the Electribe, it should ignore note triggers.
Clock information is independent of channel no.
Cheers, Phil. |
