Hello from a new forum user.
I wonder if anyone can help- I am using a Korg Electribe ER1 mkII in conjunction with a Microkorg. I have connected them via MIDI with the Electribe as the master so that the Microkorg's arpeggiator, delays and LFOs etc can run in time with the Electribe. However, when I do this the Electribe seems to send note information to the Microkorg so that I end up getting unwanted notes triggered on the Microkorg.
I may have overlooked something and this might be a daft question, but does anybody know how I would sync the two devices' tempos without the Electribe triggering notes on the Microkorg?

Welcome to the forum.
Have just confirmed this on my setup....
If you set the MIDI channel (1st knob, bottom row) on the MK to a different value than that used by the Electribe, it should ignore note triggers.
Clock information is independent of channel no.
Cheers, Phil.

Brilliant thank you. I tried this morning and it all works fine.
Another lesson learned!
