Is tha possible to use an audio external signal (synth,guitar) to use the external signal processor in the MS-20i controller (Korg Legacy) ,like the original MS-20?
I bought my controller second hand but it didn´t came with manual,where i can get it?
I have my unit serial number.

Yes and no.
The external input on your MS20 controller can only be used to patch it with the patchcables. It is NOT possible to connect an external instrument etc. to your MS20 controller.
However, it is possible to use the virtual MS20 as an audio processor.
The external audio gets in by the audio input of your audio device in your computer.
I hope I explained it well.

Yeah, you can't feed audio into the *controller*, it's just a dumb MIDI controller, it's *not* a synth or audio processor.
The synth and audio processor is the plugin on your computer. Inside your computer, you can route audio into the plug. So if you wanted your guitar to go into the MS20, you'd plug it into your audio interface, and use your host to route and process than input and feed it into the plugin. |
